When I asked myself if I'd participate in a 30 day photo challenge again, the only reply was "Would I!"
This is chunk of pine which was resawn and the grain book matched to look like two eyes. I then painted the eyes with oil based paint and clear coated. I make a lot of these, I call them woodies.
Wow! Great shot! The bookmatched pine just lends itself to this kind of art. But, I think having this on my wall, though it's gorgeous, would tend to unnerve me.
Wow, that's very artistic of you and yoru rendition of the eyes is fantastic. Not sure that I wood (boom tish) have a coffee table with those eyes staring up at me! I thought you had somehow squashed your plastic eyeballs in there at first!
Holy moly! That's amazing, I would buy that! The art is gorgeous and the shot excellent. I do miss the eyeball :P hehe

Before I read your comment I thought you had put your eyeballs in the wood. It fits your theme very well and looks great in the collage.
