Tomorrow will be a difficult day, we have to take our 14 year old Akita named Mocha to the vet to have her put down. Her hips are shot and she can't move around hardly at all anymore. The vet says she is very old for an Akita but that doesn't make it any easier... : (
This is very sad. Her eye is full of sadness too :-(
ReplyDeleteAwwww Rick. I'm so sorry. It's so hard. We had the same thing with our almost-14 year old golden retriever some years ago. You know you're doing the right thing, but it doesn't make it any easier. My thoughts are with you.

Aww, that is so sad. I can see that day coming with our big Newfoundland sometime too. He is finding it harder to get up. It's a hard thing to consider, and I send big (((hugs))) out to you in getting over this hard time!
